Get Your Skis Waxed by the Pros for the Birkie! - Friday 11 February, 2011 Bert, Kevin, and Mike Mappin of Canmore Nordic Sport Services will be heading to the 2012 American Birkebeiner in Hayward, Wisconsin. They will be testing Solda waxes and prepping skis for Saturday's race. They will be professionally waxing a limited number of skis for the race. WebSkis Uses Our Digital Flex Tester To Help Determine The Perfect Ski Our ski flexer uses a digital press to accurately determine how any given ski will work for you. Now we can flex individual skis and, based on your weight, pick the perfect ski for you and the conditions that you ski in. Even if you're 2000 miles away.
But what's really useful is what we like to call fleet management. That involves having us flex and evaluate your existing quiver of skis. This will help you further understand the strengths and weaknesses of your existing skis - so you know which skis to use in soft snow, hard snow, new snow and old snow.
